Study in New Zealand

Students have several options to support themselves and they can choose between part-time and full-time education. Applicants to postgraduate degrees generally require at least a three-year Bachelor’s degree in addition to IELTS or TOEFL for non-native English speakers. Further, New Zealand allows students opportunities to apply for post-study work visas. Postgraduate students who are studying a Research Masters are allowed to work full-time in the country. PhD scholars are at special advantage as they are allowed to work full-time and hence, balance their finances. Further, international PhD students pay the same fee as students in New Zealand. PhD programmes in New Zealand encourage independent and critical thinking and enable students to further their academic careers. They typically last three years. Further, on completion of the PhD, students can apply for a three-year work-visa in the country. Several scholarships and funding options are also available.

The internationally reputed and recognized MBA degrees provided by universities in New Zealand put forward competitive, affordable fee structures. Further, several workplaces, the world over, actively recruit MBA graduates from universities in New Zealand. Further, the country is a unique blend of eastern and western sensibilities, making it a way for MBA students to develop perceptively. Students looking to pursue an MBA in New Zealand must possess a three-year Bachelor’s degree with some universities asking for three years of work experience. Students may have to prove their English language skills by providing proof of having taken the IELTS or TOEFL.
