Graduate Records Examination, popularly called as GRE, is a test conducted by ETS to analyze the capabilities of the test- takers to stand in the world's most accredited and reputed universities. In the world of novelty, even the GRE conductors accept the fact that living in the ideal manner is too main stream. The basic pattern of this test is framed in such a style that the applicants always face a surprise. Let's dwell on what I exactly mean by surprise.
As you all are familiar with the anatomy of GRE general test, you must be knowing that apart from Verbal Reasoning, Analytical Writing, and Quantitative Reasoning, there are two other sections whose score does not affect your overall performance; these two sections are 'Experimental' and 'Research.'

Purpose of this section:-
As the name itself suggests, experimentation. ETS tests its new question in this manner. They wish to see as to how the applicants' ability to handle the complexity of these further questions. Based on the response of the test- takers, ETS decides the difficulty level of questions and judge whether they match the set GRE standards or not. They are meant for future use.
